Birmingham’s own Tom Flynn returns for his follow-up EP on dirtybird to last year’s very tropical “Catch That Bird.” He recently told me “I always loved the more unusual & original sounds of records, which is the reason I fell in love with dirtybird.” Tom is one of the most consistent producers out there, sometimes turning in more than one tune a week! (I only wish i was so prolific.) He’s currently working with Pete Tong at Radio One and also in the studio with Steve Lawler. These are two of the best T. Flynn tracks i’ve heard. “Budgie Smuggler” is a fresh club jam that sounds like deez nuts and “Keep Listening” is a red alert, 4 alarm big room only rocker.
